Classroom Rules and Routines
I create a predictable and structured environment by implementing clear classroom rules, daily routines, and visual schedules. Timers help students manage transitions effectively, while visual cues support their independence and understanding of expectations.
Check-Ins
I prioritize social-emotional well-being by conducting daily check-ins where students share how they are feeling. This practice fosters self-awareness, builds trust, and allows me to provide individualized support when needed.

4 Connections : 1 Correction
I strive to build positive relationships by using a 4:1 ratio of connections to corrections. For every correction I provide, I aim to offer four affirming, encouraging, or supportive interactions, reinforcing a caring and respectful classroom environment.
Reflection Cloud
To promote self-regulation and accountability, I use a Reflection Cloud. When students need time to process their actions, they reflect on their choices and consider how to make better decisions. This tool encourages problem-solving and personal growth.
